Winter Championships at ATMOSPHERE

The top-4 teams face-off in the season finale at Atmosphere Bar on Thursday night!

Anthony-Paul’s will be serving food starting around 7:30 PM. Dart matches will begin around 8 PM. Both First Place and Third Place matches will be played simultaneously followed immediately by awards presentations to all finalists.

Semifinals and Finals Party

Congratulations to the top-4 teams in the playoffs: theMofos, Where do we play tonight?, Jacqueline’s TLC and Butt Darts all advanced to the semi-finals on March 9 and secure their place to play at the Finals Party on March 16 at Atmosphere Bar!

Next Thursday, March 16, the top-4 teams will compete in the FINALS live at Atmosphere Bar. Competition will begin shortly after 8 PM with food and snacks server starting around 7:30 PM. Both FIRST and THIRD place matches will be played simultaneously with a brief awards presentation following the matches.

Finals Party and Awards

The finals party will be held on March 16 and all are welcome to attend! The third place and finals match will both be played live immediately followed by awards presentations to the finalists. A variety of foods and snacks will be available while they last. Food service starting around 7:30 PM with matches beginning around 8:00 PM.

Awards have been purchased and the talented services of Anthony-Paul’s have been secured to host this even along with generous support from Atmosphere Bar. We look forward to seeing as many of you beautiful people as possible to help celebrate another marvelous AACDARTS season!

Playoffs Start Feb 23

The last two weeks of the regular season are upon us! The playoffs begin on Feb 23, 2023. All sixteen teams will make the playoffs which is a single elimination tournament.

We will play the same format as the regular season; however, it will be the first-to-five wins the match. The 701 family game will not be played as the winner will be determined within the nine pairs games. As soon as one team gets to five wins, the match is over and that team is the winner.

Regular season ends on Feb 9 which means there is one week before the playoffs to play any rescheduled matches. This would be on Feb 16. Please ensure that you let us know if you plan to play your reschedule match on this date. If you have not informed us that you will make up your match on Feb 16, we will assume it is a draw if no score reported prior to Feb 10.

Soft Tip Darts Tournament at SCC 2023

Sin City Classic XVI 2023 is in the books! What an incredible tournament organized and executed by Anthony-Paul’s Event Planning hosted by QUADZ Video Bar Las Vegas and supported by Atmosphere Bar Chicago and AAC Dart League. The effort and love put into the event was evident in the camaraderie and enjoyment shared by all participants.

AAC Dart League was represented by John Nino, Michael Pfeifer and Dave Sawyer (team ‘Double Tops’), and Juan Munoz. The league represented — reaching podium in three of four events! Check out a few pics from the shenanigans and start getting ready for next year!

Sin City Classic XVI

The sixteenth Sin City Classic is just two weeks away. More than 8,000 athletes from around the world come together for a weekend filled with competition, social events and fun!

AAC Darts’ very own Juan Munoz and Pauli Cook from team @mosFierce of Atmosphere Bar host the soft-tip darts tournament as part of this fabulous event. This is their third year volunteering to run the tournament for darters from across the United States and the world. Competition consists of a partner and individual match for the 501 and Cricket formats.

We have a few more darters from our league who will be traveling to Las Vegas in a couple weeks to represent Chicago and the AAC Darts League including John Nino, Mike Pfeifer and Dave Sawyer. John Nino is teaming up with former league member, Ryan Whitney, for their second consecutive year playing together in the tournament. Dave and Pfeifer are teaming up as team “Double Tops” to resurrect their failed attempt to partner last year (thanks COVID!).

Tournament dates are Jan 14-15 and is being held at QUADZ Las Vegas. Don’t forget to ask the darters about the tournament when you see them after!
